OK, I'm guessing you are in the UK? So for the top one I'd suggest Viburnum lantana and for the bottom one V Cartesian* or V x carlcephalum. There are also similar named cultivars. Not my area of experience but I hope these are reasonable guesses.

*carlesii!

Around here the most common ones that are scented are V. x burkwoodii and V. carlesii which may have been floral's suggestion before spellcheck took over.

As others have said, a zone and general location are helpful in narrowing possibilities.

Thanks everyone, much appreciated :-) Having done some googling, it looks like they are V Lantana and V carlcephalum. So glad I've got them identified!

I find flowers of V. lantana to be downright malodorous.
