Should I break the wall in the kitchen? I wanted to have an open kitchen and thought of breaking down the kitchen wall half way (couple inches above the countertop or a bar height). I also have powder room on the other side of the wall. So once the wall comes down, you will get to see the powder room door if you stand at the sink.

My design dilemma is whether it will look good considering powder room will be visible from kitchen?
