No problem here as for years after a few hard frosts with the adult plants they are brought in attached garage and they sit on cement floor.

There have been a few years where outdoor temps stay below zero for a spell and i throw old bed sheets over the top of them but thats about it.

Side note coldest garage temps here was 6 to 8 above zero on wall thermometer.

But mind you these are adults plants mostly in 30g containers with 1 in a 20g.

My wary is about bringing in garage pests that will over winter on the trees and start problem before it is time to put trees out.

I try not to bring into garage any leaves and other debris that will mold and rot. Can't see too many bugs growing in a cold garage.

When necessary if I have identified specific pest issues then in March/April (before leaves form) I can do a dormant spray. Very few bugs attack figs here in Zone 6. Luckily the native wildlife and bugs don't recognize figs.
