Federal style really doesn't require shutters at all........if you want them.......TWO more windows is hardly worth skipping : (

I'd skip them ALL!!!!. Appears they are going to be way crowded.: virtually touching ) I would certainly get some cheapies, and hold it up before a commitment, and then If you like it? Do the whole thing.

I would also skip shutters all the way , you do not have enough room between windows for proper sized shutters and IMO they would really just clutter up the facade

Agree with both above.... space between the windows is not adequate for shutters.

So you will have a strip going the entire way across the 2nd floor of your house with no real wall showing.

If you put shutters on that house, the front will be mostly glass and shutter. Whatever the walls are made of is almost immaterial if there is so little showing.

I thing if you want them...... do them ALL . That was the question at the start. : )

If you want them do them IMO they are superfulous on all the homes you pictured
