I put 2 of mine in full sun this past summer and found that they grow fatter, taller and faster than those kept in the shade.

Peter’s advice sounds really good to me. Puerto Vallarta is at about the same latitude as Honolulu & I have found that direct sun all day was a bit rough for seedlings. They like the heat, though.

I have a trellis with shade cloth where my I keep my seedlings but the sun shifts drastically throughout the day at this time of the year so I am constantly moving the plants in and out of the shade & sun. They get morning soaks and occasional sprays to keep up the humidity until the afternoon sun hits them under the trellis. Heat is definitely not a problem 87 degrees Fahrenheit) and night time lows of 70ish. Rain is also not a concern, since I live on the dry sunny side of the island. Until they mature a little more, I have resigned myself to being at their beck and call. Just call me "Slave".

I’d say only worry that they’re not getting direct sun from noon on. Shade during most intense sun, but I wouldn’t move around. I’d position the shade cloth so that it protects then & not fret if they get morning or late afternoon sun. I’m lazy & not an expert, so keep that in mind.

My seedlings took direct sun all day even in 100 heat with no trouble. But I did ease them into it and had them in morning and evening sun before that. I'd suggest with your temps you'll have no trouble at all moving them into full sun. But do it a bit at a time as they can and will burn if you go too fast. Give them an extra two hours or so of sunlight every few days so they have time to adjust. They'll need more watering but with your temps only in the 80's, that's pretty mild.
