We are building a new house, and I selected our stone from the stone manufacturer's brochure, assuming that the grout would be the same color as the picture. It was installed yesterday, and when we drove by, I was shocked that the grout is super dark, not the creamy white tone I expected. We stopped and talked to the men who installed it, and they said that in a few days, it should dry much lighter, so I'm holding my breath waiting on it to dry.

Does anyone know if there's anything that can be done to lighten the grout used for stone veneer if it doesn't lighten up enough?
