I am loath to share pictures but hope other remodelers can relate!

While I was handing out candy to a group of trick-or-treaters, a 6-7 year-old Spider-Man leaned around me to get a good look at the inside of my house. When he said, “You have a very nice house,” I started laughing...he earned another piece of candy because this is what he saw:

Maybe he comes from a house with hoarders and he liked your open space and lack of ... pretty much everything! Hope he is just a budding DIY enthusiast.

Hahaha! How cute!!!

My son's best friend told me "you have an awesome house!" when he first met us and my house was still loaded with moving boxes. He spends a lot of time over here. :)

rantontoo-That is too funny because a very similar thing happened to us several years ago on Halloween.

We have a detached garage with a covered walkway between the garage and the house. (A little different than most houses is our neighborhood.) We answered the door to a girl ~ 6 or so and her brother who was a few years younger. When I was giving them their candy the little boy, not the older sister mind you, kind of looked around outside and said, "I really like your house. It's cool!!" It cracked me up.

What a sweet kid! I had a little boy do exactly the same thing last year.
