My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Did you do anything special to the floors?

I have read that the floors need to be removed in shipping containers due to the formaldehyde in them. Any truth to this?

    Clean well, if no stains, no problems. Light sanding, 3 coats poly - the bad stuff is usually self evident when you hand select

    Stock Maple Plywood with small U shaped spacers for better aesthetics plus polyurethane sealant. These were 4'x8', we usually cut them to 2'x8' for a better aesthetic. It so much easier to maintain than sheetrock and long lasting beauty.
