I am helping a friend with her kitchen table. Her cabinets are white and she has black granite, a beige backsplash and a honey colored wood floor. She picked out a very basic, very dark wood table. I am trying to get her to think outside the box and picked out a beautiful, antiqued sand color wood table with a pedistal. Her husband thinks it is too close to the color of the wood floors but i think it will look beautiful in there. She just painted her walls a dark, almost salmon color which match a stripe in the draperies her designer picked out. I am trying to convince her husband to get the table and I will find a natural sisal rug to put under the table. What are your thoughts?
