Kitchen Counter(Apartment)

Okay, I live in an Apartment and it's been recently renovated. Unfortunately, for the kitchen area it wasnt to my liking(Obviously, I cant do major changes) So for the kitchen counter, I dont know how to maximize the space cause literally there arent any. I also can't put a big drying dish rack cause the stove and the kitchen sink's literally a few inches away next to each other. Any advice where I can put the dish rack? Or is it like possible to move the stove and just put a board in the middle?

I have one of these and like it a lot. Mine is not stainless steel though. It rolls into a little cylinder that you can put under the sink.

Put a butcher block counter (movable) over the trash can.

I would look for a wall mounted dish rack and add some wall shelving for additional storage. Do you go out that back door??? ( I am assuming not since there are items there ) You may want to get a nice rolling cart or work station with a butcher block top to work on...

Yup the door does completely open but we have another door that we use so basically, this would be just for emergency use.

If the range cools off before you need to dry dishes, you could put a tray on it. You might even be able to find a cover for it.

If you can attach stuff to the walls, look at IKEA's wall mount storage system online. (Not saying get IKEA stuff--but for inspiration it's good. And if IKEA is convenient, that's also good.) They also have some small carts that might be useful.

If you get truly desperate, there are always RV solutions.
