Hi! This is my first time posting to Houzz, so bear with me.

When we moved into our 1989 ranch house a few years ago I threw up these curtains in the kitchen to quickly replace the old, nasty, metal mini blinds, but they weren't meant to be permanent and I don't like them. The left side rod sags because of the half-circle window and my dog is stationed behind the curtains all day every day barking at cars, so he turns the white curtains beige with dirt in a few weeks' time and I constantly have to bleach them.

I do love flowy curtains more than any other type of treatment, but I'm thinking of roman shades instead, or at least a roman shade on the left side with the half-circle window, but I think having two different types so close together would look gross. I have some soft blue curtains I can hang over the right window and make a roman shade out of for the left window, or make two shades out of. Advice?
