thanks. i'll do that. anyone have any red buckeyes they's like to trade for bottlebrush buckeyes? I have buckeyes in potting soil & a couple seedlings.

Rober, I’m going to delete my prev. post. When I read bottlebrush, I thought you were talking about a callistemon. I am not familiar w/bottlebrush buckeye. Common names always throw me for a loop.

Red Buckeye will have large pointy buds on a strong dominant leader. Bottlebrush buds are smaller & rounder on thinner stems and less vertical dominance.
