The focal wall is clever; I'd suggest painting the desk black as well,and adding glass drawer pulls. The tchotchkees could be consolidated in boxes covered in pink faux fur, or satin and crystals, to coordinate. I like the striped panels you found!

But maybe do away with the top half of the desk.If you can
Have some floating shelves above
Maybe a little curtain in front of the desk,in the little opening not covering the draws if that makes sense they could match the curtains you decide on
Also it adds more storage
It's stripes all the way for me !!!

Pearlmelba, good call! -perhaps you could pop off the back of the upper hutch, cut its legs and hang. And just maybe the dressmakers' dummy could use an evening dress or boa? Local thrift stores should be getting used prom attire right about now.

I have two dress making dummy's
One of which I have my 1940s/50s dress and fox fur on
That scares the crap out of my guests lol
I also have two wire mannequins which are hung on my wall
All things work in progress or until I move them
So that I never tire of my things
Also gives them like a new life so to speak
Oh and saves money rather then always
Buying new things
I don't. Really need

Ok. So I ordered the stripe panels with a black sheer or white sheer in center. Not sure which one I will use. Thank you all for voting and the great ideas!

I agree with mark about the mirror, if you move the pictures, hang them a little closer to each other. What a wonderful room!!

Yes, the diva has had input!!!! She had a mirror over dresser. We returned it. She didn't like it. She picked couture prints. And she wanted desk with hutch.

Maybe add some zebra. I bought some zebra black and pink curtains for my daughter at Anna's Linens. Added some beads and it looks great! Hope I helped....good luck! BTW....that room is so cute!:)
