The week before, I was checking on some seeds I had stored in the fridge, when I was slightly startled to see one of my Black Gojiberry seeds had a 2mm sprout coming out of it! My first thought was to plant it, and now it seems to be growing...barely. Given how much I don’t want to see it go to waste (and wanting to give it a try for the sake of the challenge/learning experience), might it be possible to help it survive this winter indoors, in my apartment? My biggest concerns are:

1. Light. In general, what good options are there for growing indoors on a small scale? Natural light during the next three months will likely be low in this area... I don’t know whether the shelf below the fluorescent ceiling light in my room will be enough or not? Would a blue & red LED grow-lamp help it any?

2. Damping off/disease: I have read these plants are slightly more sensitive to it than others when starting off. I have hydrogen peroxide, will that help keep the “germs” out? Are there any other good options for controlling damping-off?

Any advice is appreciated, for this or other projects. Thanks!
