Denise, I have both. I think the muttty, thorny one is a bit more productive...mine certainly was initially. However, the thornless one has really kicked into high gear lately. I have not tried those limes yet to see if there’s any difference. They’re both nice trees. I’d say the thorny one is the stronger of the two, but I have very limited experience.

I would probably go with the thornless one myself. Those little lime trees are annoying thorny (sort of reminds of barberry).

They are very thorny, that’s for sure! I wish there were more solid data about the production of each variety.
