I would think about turning those keys into a windchime or 3D sculpture (I envision an elongated spiral).

Love these ideas! I have several old keys from my paternal grandfather's, then my father's, furniture store. The tag (fuzzed out) is a tag with name/address. The store was a big part of my life growing up. I used a handmade paper and took a photo of how I wanted them mounted to my local framing store. The background and side are silk textured mat. It hangs inside the back hallway to the garage. I have more keys, and just put them in a very old glass milk bottle. It's displayed on a bookcase.

I love shadow boxes for this type of thing it gives them importance and protects them too.

My friend did a shadow box with a place setting from her grandmother's silver. She used a magnetic strip on the back of the box and re-arranged until it looked right. It turned out great, and I think it would also work with your keys.

Looks good. I'd remove the clothes pins as they detract from the key display. You can use "museum putty" (it's removable) to adhere the keys.
