Same thing here Susanne. I attributed all my non growth and pale leaves to putting everything in gritty mix and being new at all this. I really thought I was going to lose my key lime. Out of frustration I brought everything in way earlier than most on here. I'm glad I did, now my lime is piling on new growth and in full bloom along with several others. Here it was a weird summer with real chilly night temps. I think that had a lot to do with it. Good luck with all your trees this winter.

An idea for getting the plant out: wrap it. Either twine or strips of fabric, or a whole sheet. So you are reducing the size (temporary), plus restraining the branches that tend to get caught on things as you move it through the house.

Mine grew last winter and a few are growing again now. My two biggest Meyers that are already loaded with fruit are blooming AGAIN! There will not be a branch available on those trees. I thought of posting to ask JohnM about it.

Meyers tend to bloom whenever they feel like it; this time of year is not strange. Mine seem to bloom/grow whenever I fertilize them. Field trees are different; but my garden trees are just babies, who are not sure what to do.

Thanks John. I find it just incredible that these trees that have fruit on almost every branch, can possibly be able to (or want to produce more! I am still lightly fertilizing it (1/2 strength) bc I figure it needs it. Does that sound reasonable? I’ll post pics.
