how did you install the tub?

We purchased a 2 ton travertine soaker tub, our contractor doesn’t know how to install it? Help!

Susan,
I was not the contractor so I do not have the exact details of installation. The foundation was reinforced under the tub to accommodate the wait.

I wouldn't try it in an upstairs bathroom!! The floor/foundation has to be built specifically to hold the weight of the tub plus the water plus a full-grown person. That would be planned and done before purchasing the tub.
