55' long hallway w/ 2 attached rooms, rug pattern advice needed

I have a contemporary home with a long hallway that as 2 attached rooms. The rooms share the hallway space, there is no doorway. I would like to use carpet tiles for these spaces but I'm unsure how to best compliment the space. Note, I do not want to completely cover my floor, I want to use the tiles like rugs to soften the look of my space.

Should I use the same rug tiles used in the hallway for the rooms?

How do I select a pattern that compliments the space without feeling too busy with the neighboring hallway rug.

I have attached 3 photos of my space and 2 photos that show some of the rug tiles I like.

You have to make a decision.

You can consider the hallway the entire 55' length of the space, and the rooms the two small areas off that. Or you can consider the hallway the 20' portion between the two spaces.

I personally would go for the later.

Carpet tiles tend to come in 2'x2' pieces, and an average hallway is only 3' wide. If you put tile in the "hallway" you won't get the dramatic pattern effect, it will just be a single tile wide.

With that I would just do carpet tiles for the two separate rooms, I wouldn't worry about using different patterns in them since they are different spaces.

what are the rooms used for? I can see the stripe tiles in the room with the tent or you could do the stripe in both rooms with solid in the hallway

I’ve used tiles before to make a runner of sorts. Used a different pattern/ color to make a border basically on both sides of a full tile. You can get the width ratio correct by cutting. They cut really easy with a carpet knife - at least the Flor tiles you appear to reference do. If you want to pay, I think they’ll cut for you.
