My Tahitian Pummelo order from OGW is arriving any moment now. I am praying it looks good and does not have scale.. I was hesitant to order from them but could not pass up the elusive Pummelo. . Another small order arriving next week.. lol

Jinny I hope yout pummelo is everything you hope for. My BH from them is growing a lot and getting flower buds. I think I will let it get the fruit if it wants to. Just one for fun :)

Susanne, thanks. That is great that your BH is doing so well! The BH baby fruit is adorable, so I do not blame you for wanting to let it produce at least one fruit! :)

The Tahitian Pummelo exceeded my expectations. :) It looks great! Much larger than I thought it would be for a young plant from OGW..It has one lower branch just above the graft, and the main trunk is just over 2 feet tall. I inspected the tree from head to toe and found no scale to which I am relieved . The tree has residue on its leaves from being sprayed and are pretty healthy overall. I have not had the chance to take it out of its small pot to inspect the roots but will do that this morning.

Hey Jinny, I got one from Target last month and its a great looking little tree, I don't believe it is grafted though, so don't bank on it staying really small. It is the most unhappy about being indoors now and is dropping the most leaves of all my trees but I am hopeful it recovers. With free shipping my tree spent 8 days in a box :( and only lost 2 leaves during shipping so it really surprised me.

Thanks for the information, Sammers. :) I am happy to hear that you were pleased with your tree (sad to hear it is dropping that many leaves) and look forward to getting mine soon. I had a recent citrus order from Four Winds that took 9 days to arrive and the leaves had very little leaf drop after the long and cold trip.. Can't beat the free shipping then! :) I will look for a graft when I receive it.. but I have a feeling that they were probably referring to pot culture for the mature size of the tree. Either way, I just hope it thrives and does well through the winter here. I heard this variegated variety is a bit finicky so I have been doing some research on the VEL.. If you or anyone has any tips please share with us! :)

I didn't take any right away but this was after re-potting and before it came inside, it had started dropping a few leaves from the colder temps but only 5-6 at this point.

That is a beautiful, variegated little tree. Are the Variegated leaves more yellow than cream? I see pictures that either show the yellow/green or cream/green.. Or can you get both variations on the leaves/branches? I used to think there was 2 different varieties of variegated lemon.. very pretty either way.. ??

I always wanted one but heard it was a bit finicky and other varieties on the list always came first. I cant wait to receive mine. Hope it is as lovely as yours..Your Yuzu is cute.. small but mighty!! :) Thank you for sharing. .

Mine seems to be mostly yellow and green but there are a few leaves that look more cream than yellow I wonder if it has to do with feeding it properly? I like the cream look better but it is the prettiest little tree so I am happy with it. I was in the same position, always wanted one but never made it on the top of the list, they are not supposed to be very productive but for $20 and free shipping you can't say no.
