I can't speak to the tiles themselves, but one pays a true premium for anything sold by Waterworks. To me, it would not be worth the extra cost.

I was in a local showroom yesterday with WW tiles. The Grove Brickworks caught my eye. Just gorgeous.

Do you like the variability associated with handmade tiles or do you prefer the uniformity of machine made tiles?

Was at the Waterworks showroom in Los Angeles a few weeks ago. Found an interesting mosaic for my kitchen, but it might be a bit too modern for my house.

I was looking at the Architectonics line. I think I was just looking for pros/cons of the two types offered. I understand there may be some shape irregularities with handmade, but i think that may be interesting- unless it is lippage, that wouldn't be good. What make handmade so appealing vs dust-pressed when they look so similar?

Also remember that for handmade tiles you need a larger grout joint. I had looked at handmade tile for my kitchen backsplash but realized I wouldn't be comfortable with the larger grout joint.
