I cut these off, I think?

I live in Arizona so it's around 85 degrees today. My citrus trees are getting huge fruits in them, they will be ready to harvest in a month or two. My Lisbon lemon is growing a branch out of its trunk. It's green and so I'm thinking I should cut it off... I'm not a citrus expert so what do you guys think? Should I wait until it's done fruiting?

If the rest of the tree is growing good go ahead and cut it off. It won't hurt.

Basil why do you want to cut anything off? I have no clue how the growing season in your area is in winter but just assuming they will rest growing but stay green? If that is the case, I would wait till spring to cut anything off. And yup, picture would be nice.

hehe Mike. here too please. I would rather have my trees out in the sun then indoors with all the artificial lights.

Cutting it now or later will have little if any impact on the fruiting; the question is whether it is from the scion or the rootstock...and pictures will help to know that.

I tried to upload pictures but they aren't working.... even in the comments!! I here that there support to be tall and wide though... mine are wide but not tall.
