I am growing Lyon’s Bunny Hop from leaves. They are growing well in plastic cups and ziplock bags. I am lightly watering with weak liquid fertilizer 15-16-17 once a week. I also have some 12-36-14 on hand. Which would be best to use?

When should I remove the original leaves and take the new plants out of the baggies? When the leaves are removed can they stay in the cups without repotting. They are growing in a peat, perlite, and vermiculite soil. I had grown from leaves another time and lost the plants when I repotted.

The room where the violets are growing on the window sill in indirect sunlight stays at 68 degrees. With colder temperatures, I will place them on a table below the window. Should I place them on a heat mat?

It took about 3 months for the little plants to appear. I don’t want to lose them!
