Flowers everywhere

Oroblanco finally, after waiting the whole summer, new growth and flowers

Gold Nugget

Rio Red

So far so good. Still arranging, re arranging and thinking I need to do yoga or loose some weight. I also learned that some trees just need more water. Shiranui lost a couple of new growth tips and took me a while that it is a sign of not enough water. Should have used a bigger bot when I got her.

and variegated calamondin. I thing the dry twigs was caused by freezing temp during shipment but now starts to look like on the way to recovery

They look beautiful, Susanne! I love the first picture, cute :) The watering indoors is a yoga exercise indeed, I have a small watering can with a long spout which can reach the far corners of the grow space, without me trying to squeeze in between the branches :)

I use a 2 gallon tank sprayer with a long hose on it to reach all the hard to get at places. I can mist under the leaves with it too.

Cory - Definitely concur! Over the summer I got both 1 gallon and rolling 3-gallon manual tank sprayers for water only. That pretty much eliminated filling and hauling the watering can. And since my back patio has no spigot, it also reduced the number of times I needed to hookup a hose in the kitchen to run it out to the back (although when it got hot, I still needed to use the hose for the rest of my plants out there). I also have a 1 quart telescoping manual tank sprayer dedicated for pest spray solutions.

Susanne your trees are looking good! I’m still waiting to get decent fruit from my Oro blanco tree. So far everything I’ve pulled from it has been dried out and juiceless. I’ve tried picking them early, late, right when they’re supposed to be ripe. I’m hoping this is the year. Here’s some pics of my Oro blanco fruits.

And some Rio red grapefruits that’ll be ready in January. You can see a little pink starting behind the leaves.

    The overall tree

Eureka lemons starting to color up.

Out of room for pics on this post.

    The overall eureka tree

    Variegated pink eureka lemon

One of two fruits that the tree is holding

    The second fruit

Key limes in various stages of growth, this tree always has fruit hanging

Here is my cocktail pomelo, this fruit is so heavy and filled with juice that it bends the branches towards the ground.

Mike yes I'm using the cfl bulbs on my trees but right now not sure if I'm happy with them. In a very short time already three needed to be replaced.
