That's so funny!..do I have this right?-turkeys eat lots of bad bugs?..

Whoa!! No walking around turkeys in my area (and I prefer mine with the feathers off). He looks like he is ready to invite himself in.....does he know what Thursday is??

On a more regional note, I did have to go out and chase the deer away again this afternoon......much to my dog's delight!

I also have to say that the view of your garden out the window looks far less fall-like than mine! While we have not yet had a freeze or even a frost, it looks like late November here......few trees and shrubs have any leaves left and most perennials have long shut down for the season. It didn't hurt that we had a ferocious windstorm last week that blasted all the deciduous foliage into the next county!! And that we are firmly ensconced into our 6 month long rainy season, so everything looks slightly sodden :-))

I didn't say it but I also noticed that your garden looks good..mine is going dormant by the minute..

Nichols, pictures were taken a few yrs ago in July... everything has gone bye bye for this yr

hyed..that makes sense..now I feel better lol..

Hi gardengal, should have posted picture was taken midsummer a few yrs ago ...Sorry

That's OK :-)) No wonder turkey is so nonchalant.......he has months to go before he is a dinner entree!! And I also feel better that your colder zone east coast garden is not looking so dramatically better than mine.
