White Flower Farm

I just picked up my order from WFF at work. The bulbs are huge and healthy and worth the expense.

Kinda hard to see.

    Congratulations Fred!

They all look great; mine are on their way hopefully tomorrow but if not, Friday for sure and at least the temps have moderated so no worries there!!

    Enjoy your new bulbs!!

They look great Fred and they are all beautiful choices. Tres Chic is one of my favorites with it's elegant shape and the striking contrast in colors. It always demands attention. - J

They look wonderful!!! I have to say, they may be expensive but their quality is unmatched. I don't think you'll be disappointed with their Bogota and I'm pretty sure you'll get it rather quickly. As for the leaving well enough alone??? Well that's just the nature of us beasts :-)))))

Donna your beautiful looking bulbs sent me on their website to check them out! I am very tempted but will resist for now - I hate biting off more than I can chew and feel like I might already have a lot on my hands with the few bulbs I have ordered!

Maybe in a couple of years if I can keep my current ones alive and feel like I can handle more!

    Hi J L

That's how it starts. Next thing you know, you're up to your eyeballs in hippies and just like Donna you're making your own crosses :-)))) I'm very fortunate to have a place to grown them, but at over 100 of 'em space runs out very quickly and you start thinking about "Friends" you can gift some to.

lol Fred. I am already thinking of where else I can grow these - I am going to send some off to my husband's office (he works close to our home and I have access to his office) and some to my office. But only after they bloom first....

J L , As for White Flower Farms, they are just about the most expensive place you can buy your bulbs but after a few year I'm back because they offered Maybelle which I hadn't seen before and of course, you can't just order one bulb!! But, as Fred says, their bulbs are great quality just be prepared to spend more there than any place else. Their shipping is high too, but... so it goes in the life of an addict....☺☺

I think Hubby is going to take me to Russells this afternoon, might not be much left but it's a nice day for a ride, shouldn't be too crowded in the middle of the week....I didn't see any Bogota in your pictures Fred but maybe they were lurking somewhere out of your camera's eyes!!

    Donna,

Good luck. When I was there, I did see some Bogota and hopefully there will be some left.

enjoy your trip there Donna! I might have to go back this weekend to get some "soil" mixes too. I was a bit overwhelmed when I went there before (was my first time) and I didn't know what I was doing so I left with only the bulbs.

Just got back from Russell's and although they had plenty left, no Bogota so..I opted for an Aphrodite with the scape out about 8'' and a replacement Splash... both actually were replacements, my Aphrodite left this world many years ago. All the Israeli bulbs were gone except for Ruby Star but that was in a box and you couldn't see the bulb and were paying twice what it's worth for some soil and a plastic pot.

Lots of other goodies to peruse but nothing came home with me other than the two bulbs. Certainly couldn't drive all that way and come home with nothing!!☺☺

I looked those up Donna and sounds like you got some great bulbs!
