My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Had hoped to deliver these to St. Jude’s before Thanksgiving, but the heart one took some time!

The circus one has a central appliqué; the rest is from a fat quarter pack with added stash fabric.

The hearts are machine appliquéd, each with matching thread, machine quilted in the ditch, stippled, and hand quilted around the hearts. I cut out behind the hearts to make the quilt as soft as possible. This one is big enough for an older girl, which they had requested.

    I think they're lovely, and it's especially nice of you to take so much trouble to make them special. I think it's a much better thing to make charitable donations something that you would like for yourself, because in my opinion giving something because it's cheap just reinforces to the recipient that no one values them. Your quilts will make the recipients feel that someone out there cares.
