It looks like Bermuda.......but not common bermuda. Probably an improved type.

It does look like an improved bermuda. What is your situation? Which one do you want to dominate the other?

Thanks for the replies. Yes in this area I'd prefer the St. Augustine to take over.

I have some common bermuda in this grassy area too, I'll find a picture with the unknown grass next to common bermuda to see if that helps identify. Also, this grass is seen throughout the area, on other lawns, but usually not on a well kept lawn. Most good lawns in the area are clearly common bermuda, st. augustine, or fescue/marathon ii.
