We are looking for an induction range and ran across this one while looking through the GE catalog at a local appliance dealer.

The dealer said it is not available until February but I see it advertised online. I have no problem waiting as we are just getting started with our kitchen remodel. There is also a double oven version CHS995.

My questions:

Does anyone have either of these and can provide a review?

How are the current and past GE induction products? Should I stay away? (Reliability, Performance, etc)

Prior to seeing this I was leaning toward the Bosch Benchmark HIIP055U. Very nice overall but I reallly don’t like touch pad for burner control.
