I recently moved into newly built home. Builder put in scluter shower system and hired a tile contractor. When spoke with tile contractor said he had never tiled over a system such as this. When I first viewed tile job the grout was very discolored. We used Carrara marble time with white grout. I thought it was dirty from all work in house and thought once I cleaned it I would be set. But never got white. Then tiles on floor started popping so builder came in and regrouted, but still discolored. Now the soap insert is cracking and tiles popping in the insert. Can I have your thoughts. I really want the builder to retile. I cringe every time I walk in my shower. Thanks for insight. Trying to understand process and what could have gone wrong
