shower fixtures

I originally purchased the gold Kohler purist collection for shower fixtures. Now I’m having a change of heart. Any suggestions?

Water proofing can be done and the gold would look good with the tile look, just ask yourself is the rain type shower head do it for you and after sale? It is nice but not easy to take a full shower with it.

The gold fixtures would look amazing with your stone.

I personally would never ever install a rain head in my shower. I prefer a standard wall-mount head plus an adjustable-height hand-held wand on a vertical bar. The rain head is a fad. It's hard to take a normal shower unless you wash your hair every time, and most people don't.

I agree that the Purist gold would look great! A nice contrast to the grays and whites of the tile.

Waterproofing? The fixtures? I’m a bit confused. Also it’s not only a rainhead but the handheld is included too. It was the brushed gold or chrome. I am leaning towards gold though. For some reason everyone whose seen it says chrome

Purist collection in the gold would be perfect w/what you have. don't change it.

    does this help?

I'm guessing you;re doing this instead of a standard shower head?

Result and design dilemma #2. Chrome fixtures in the tub that I forgot to consider when buying

looks very nice. don't sweat the drain. no one but you will see it.

Gorgeous! It's so nice when people post followups to their design dilemmas. So happy to see you went with the gold fixtures.

Thank you!!! Any vanity suggestions? This bathroom remodel has been a challenge

Love it! Kohler's gold was a VERY good choice! The tub chrome drain, not a big deal, I'd leave it. A white OR light grey vanity...

keep the gold color for the light fixtures.

look at RH vanities. I went w/a black oak on mine (and used the Purist knobs for hardware! if you click on my name, bathroom redo, u can see it), but they have a some beautiful vanities whose coloring would look great w/the calacatta and gold accents. these are just a few

you could even do a nice navy or a white. I just think gray is so overdone at this point and has a tendency to make the bathroom too gloomy looking. That vanity is very nice, above, but maybe i'm just over the gray thing.

Isn't that hand shower mounted a bit too low?

I love those vanity options. Totally forgot about RH. def gonna check those out. And I absolutely can’t stand gray at this point. It’s been an overkill with grays everywhere

Actually I thought it was too high. I don’t like the look of a handheld being used as a fixed shower head. I’m considering installing a fixed one as well. The more options the better?
