Moved a few hydrangeas

Will they be ok? We've had very warm temps here for this time of year. Mid-50's. I moved 1 ES and 3 h. panicultas, silver dollar. Luis, do you think they will be ok?

Hello, bella rosa. If they were already dormant, they should be ok. If they were not dormant, they may try to produce new growth, which may get zapped when really cold temps arrive. If you already haven't, add mulch up to protect the areas where the roots reside. Add winter protection to ES if you use that, once the shrub is dormant. Do not add fertilizers now; wait until Spring. If not dormant and your ground has not frozen, consider watering the night before temps tank a lot if the soil feels dry. Prune any dead wood in May 2018. Good luck!

Hola Luis! they were dormant. I don't ever fertilize my hydrangeas, but I will try and mulch them over the weekend. I'll let you know in 2018 if they made it! thanks much.
