My Fukushu from FW

A couple of weeks ago I got a premium sized Fukushu from FW. I admit, when I ordered I was hoping to find some fruit so I could taste them. But I think it turned out just a great as it is now :) Here she is today. Soo many tiny buds. Makes me happy

And I got some new babies yesterday. Still very tiny but so cute. Those are Drosera Tokaiensis and D.Emeralds Envy. Ready to catch any flying insects like the dreaded fungus gnats (at least that is the idea although they already disappeared) Expecting two pitcher plants next week.

Fukushu is a beautiful tree! I got mine in Costco 2 months ago and it had no fruits or flowers but it was pretty big - about 3.5'. Now it has flowers, tiny baby fruits, and even new growth. It looks like this kumquat type is quite a champion.

My Meiwa that I bought 4 months ago has zero growth.

I almost gave up on Meiwa but the one I got from Mycitrus tree is finally putting up new growth. So, don't give up it will get there :)

Beautiful tree Susanne!!! I really love the shape. I hope you have better luck with the carnivorous plants....I had none and then they died ;(

Laura how sad. Did you ever figured out why? Only reason my previous pitchers died was murder from cats. This time not going to happen.

Yes, FW is very inconsistent this year. My last tree, GN (premium), arrived with a serious iron deficiency, many leaves had dried edges and it was only 20-21' high. It had a nice shape though.

It has been a month and nothing has changed. We have a nice sunny weather, so hopefully, I will see some positive changes soon.

But Susanna's Fukushu looks like a true premium tree and very healthy. I hope FW will be a go-to citrus nursery again next year but they need to implement at least simple QA procedures.
