Clearly the installer could tell the difference; all the beige tiles are on the floor and gray on the wall...

You poor thing. What is wrong with this tile guy. One tile error is enough, but two - unbelievable. Re your fireplace tile, I would replace with the more subtle tile you chose. You really did need a pair of eyes watching the build.

it was an out of state build so I wasnt there very frequently - all tile work happened in the last 4 weeks of the build - so I missed that window. Decision with builder tomorrow - but they'd have to replace both bath floor and fireplace tile corrected for free. Closing is on 21st - and they seem to think they can do it if i wanted to change it. But will know tomorrow - hoprfully they arent thinking I am footing the bill for anything.

How did it go for you in terms of builder changing all the tiles including the fireplace ones …
