I keep quilts on all of the sofas all the time, because of the dog. I wash quilts a lot, she comes in dirty.

The only flannel I use is for the backings of the chemo quilts. Sure can be linty!

I agree. Lucky dogs. Mine got the practice pieces with just random scribble quilting on them.

Just remembered. I did make a flannel top once, was so disappointed with it, I didn't even finish it so I gave it to the cat. He liked it.

Last Christmas I made a quilt for DD2 and a little quilt for her cat. Figured DD2 could wash it more often & easier whenever it got dirty.
Just found out that the cat likes her quilt and won't sleep on the bed if it's not there.
