I have grown this one before. My wife thought they were too hot when she ate them raw. Have never cooked radish. Does look nice though!

I grow them every year along with Greenheart and long white Daikon. Radishes are a major fall crop for me and they store well.

That is pretty looking radish. I wonder what the taste like ????

I planted some recently, but then it snowed a few times. We'll see if it sprouts. It's supposed to warm up about ten degrees, on Tuesday.

Radishes are one of my favorite foods.

The Cherry Belle radishes I grew last year didn't keep long fresh—but they did store a good while lacto-fermented! :) They're awesome fermented, including on hotdogs. I'm trying other kinds this year (including Watermelon, White Icicle, and De 18 Jours). I've planted them all except for De 18 Jours (which I plan to save for a little later, thanks to its earliness).

I've got some other radishes that reseed every year in the shade, so far—it's only been since 2016 that I first planted them (a combination of Sakurajima Giant, Pusa Gulabi, Full Red, and Crimson Giant—they're probably crosses by now). They don't bulb there, but I still let them grow and reseed. Maybe one of these years they will (or if I put them in the sun).

My mom's favorite radish. I gave her a few seeds and she tried them in a pot. The squirrels finished them off....

I tried growing them in Zone 9, all I got was seeds not large root.
