I have bought several spray (& hand pump) bottles over the years since worm farming, hoping it will be the ideal one, ranging from the $1.50 to $15/ea. Thought the $15 was "almost" it. I said almost because while idling, the water leaked >> reduced pressure >> have to pump some more. The size was right, not too heavy and fits right in my hand for squeezing. But then, this bottle fell of a ledge and broke the top part, the pumping part. I might spend $15 for pumpkins but not for another spray bottle.

So, long story short, I got a water/soft drink bottle. Put a double layer of saran wrap over the top, secured with rubber band, and punched several holes through the plastic wrap. You could use a pin; I used a tooth pick. And as they say: VOILA! Didn't cost extra money, free to choose the size, NO pumping or squeezing - just up-end the bottle, nothing to break, perfect grip. To avoid the routine of changing saran wrap and rubber bands, I could choose a bottle with aluminum screw cap and punch some holes in it.

My idea of worm farming is try to not spend money and re-use/re-purpose what I can find around the house. Hope this helps.
