I'm looking for options for building a new home overlooking a large pond. The home would be situated on 40 acres of pristine natural woodland surrounded by ponds and live oaks. I want as much exposure to the pond as possible as well as oak trees as the home will be situated between the two. As an artist, I need a large working area with plenty of natural light. 2-3 bedrooms, office, 2.5 bath. Want to create a seamless transition from inside and out to bring the natural beauty indoors. Prefer open floor plan with minimal indoor walls to minimize building cost. High ceilings a must. Minimal outside design to reduce maintenance. Any porches, patios must be screened. Swimming lane a plus.
