My dining room is 11’9” x 15’9”. What size table would fit nicely on a 9 x 13 rug? I don’t want anything else in the room, just a table and chairs. My family has some pet peeves with the chairs falling off the rug when you sit down or get up. I like this rug and a free form table but am not sure the sizing will work well. Please let me know if there is a mathematical equation to figure this out.
