Pushing citrus in the ground

Back in spring I planted my Meyer and Armstrong satsuma in the ground by my greenhouse. My plan for protection was simple. 2 layers of frost cloth and 1 tarp pulled over at night with 1 strand of C9 Christmas lights that come on below 38. So far I can maintain a 16 degrees difference over the outside air temps. If we get much below 20 I'll add another layer of cloth. This pic is from the other morning of 14f. My Meyer is having a small bloom right now
