I've read about the importance of fresh seeds. Most suppliers are from USA or Europe, having a winter too cold to plant seeds. My climate may be warmer but not sufficiently so. Given few constraints, I have no climate control either. That means, seeds I buy in the spring may have been stored inadequately by the seller.

Is overwintering the seeds in the fridge good enough? Can I put them in the soil and wait for sprouting in spring? I have done that with dracaena seeds because they don't store well. Can I do this with any Sansevieria?
