Help with range hood

I want a low-profile range hood, and am looking at a Zephyr and an XO (see links below.) I know Zephyr is a great brand, but I like the fact that the XO will operate (vent and lights) even when the slide-out visor panel isn't extended. Does anyone have experience with either of these two vent hoods? Thanks in advance for your advice!

Hi. I was considering this model. Did you get it? If so, I'd love to know your experience with it. I'm specifically wondering whether the front half that slides out is effective at capturing air, as the blower is behind it. Thank you!

I wound up getting a KitchenAid instead. It works pretty well, and I like the fact that I can have the lights on with the slide out hood part retracted.

I should add that the slide out Kitchenaid hood is okay, but not great at capturing the air. It’s just under 400 cfm
