Lots really... Omnia Leather city craft, Lawson by elite leather, and decor-rest from Toronto has just brought out a similar style

Good guesses. These are Madison sofas from Casco Bay Furniture in Brompton Cocoa leather. Made to look like the Maxwell from RH.

Josh, did you buy from Casco Bay? If so, I'm interested in hearing about your experience.

I wouldn't say it was the best customer service, but there's no doubt the quality is fantastic. I actually have a love seat being delivered Monday from them. The Madison luxe depth is still a little too deep for me, but it seems strange to pay extra for them to give me less depth, and subsequently less of the great Brompton leather.

All of the good leather companies offer Brompton: Omnia, Legacy Leather, Bradington young, and Decor-rest. All offer Brompton

Casco Bay is a retailer, not a manufacturer, and their product looks a lot like Bradington Young private label. Many of the reputable manufacturers will not make their products available online, but they will build private label for online dealers. Brompton Cocoa is a great leather, and as mentioned, Brompton is available through many reputable leather lines. If it were me, I would look at the City Craft by Omnia. In Brompton with full down you will be looking at just over 3k, and while it is deep seating, it is not overly deep. (25" seat depth) You can likely find a dealer near you, and can potentially sit in it before buying it. You may like the way it looks, but their is nothing more important than the way it sits!!

No one suggested you said anything of the sort... Just helping people with information like you :) Casco Bay sells directly to the consumer which is the definition of a retailer or etailer and I assume they do not wholesale to retailers as they do not have their own manufacturing facility. They may offer good pricing, but is hard for me to judge that without known who is responsible for the manufacturing, I have no issue with Casco Bay, but at the end of the day, I wouldn't spend that kind of money on a leather sofa without sitting in it first as comfort like taste is personal. The sofa itself is a basic track arm sofa with with boxed back. and in my opinion what makes it so great is the leather... I personally have two Sam Moore Wing Chairs in Brompton Spanish Moss,: they are pretty darn fantastic, and the leather is full of character.
FTR many manufacturer have openly copied Restoration Hardware, and the copying goes both ways, but at least with the American companies, they are usually made in the US not China like most of RH. I understand that Casco Bays's supplier is manufacturing in North Carolina which is a definite plus in my book

"Urban Cabin's" post is a lie. They are listed as a "pro" but I find this hard to believe.
After months of research Casco Bay is most definitely a manufacturer! And much better quality than Restoration Hardware.
The company started in Casco Bay Maine, still has an office there but produces the furniture in their North Carolina plant, made in AMERICA.
Restoration Hardware is made in China!

I purchased a Brompton leather, 90" long, 46" deep seat, down filled sofa. The company is phenomenal. From beginning to end.
My sofa looks identical to the pictured ones here but better quality. ($2,800.00 no tax with white glove delivery included)

I will not list all of the FACTS (urban cabin), but if you are going to invest in a furniture like this you can do the research on line.

I recommend beginning your research with going to the Better Business Bureau website and check on Restoration Hardware, then Casco Bay. In the past 2- years Casco Bay has ZERO complaints, ZERO closed cases...not one bad review. They have an A rating.
Restoration Hardware has had 44 complaints in the last year alone. 96 in the last three years. They do not have an official BBB accreditation because they have not asked for one. The only way a company can get a true better Business Bureau accreditation is to open their company for review.

Also, Casco Bay is the only company that purchases the "Brompton" leather from the actual tannery in Italy.

Casco Bay customer service is exceptional. The first email I sent them was on a Sunday and Robert called me back within minutes...

I am upset that posters like "urban cabin" can say things that are 100 percent untrue!

I am in no way affiliated with Casco Bay other than being an extremely happy customer.

P.s. "All good leather companies have Brompton a Leather". NOT true!!

Please do your own research on this and not take the word of some poster like "urbin cabin" or whatever their name is.

Casco Bay uses actual Brompton Leather.

Since you have not only referenced us, but also contradicted us, I will say again that the better quality companies sell Brompton Cocoa leather - I can only suspect that you might be affiliated with Casco Bay - a company that sells directly to the public. Brompton Cocoa is an Italian Oleosa Leather that has an oil pull up effect. and the higher end better companies all carry it - Omnia Leather, Decor-rest Leather, Bradington Young, Elite Leather, Sam Moore to name a few. I personally have Brompton Spanish Moss in my own home. Yes, there may be leathers that are similar in look, but not quite the same, but I attend both High Point and Las Vegas Furniture Markets, and 'domestic' leather companies do not use knock off leathers.

Also FYI per my previous post Casco Bay states that they are manufactured by Jonathan Wesley of Taylorsville North Carolina. Hence Casco Bay is the retailer and Jonathan Wesley is the manufacturer!! This is our business 'Olivias' so appreciate that you make sure your information is correct before posting something so derogatory. Ironically I agree with some of your post. I prefer domestically made upholstery so would opt for purchasing a product manufactured in the Americas, and North Carolina is the furniture capital of the USA. While I am not a big fan or Restoration Hardware myself, to compare Restoration Hardware to Casco Bay is like comparing apples to oranges. Restoration Hardwares sales volume would be at least 100 times that of Casco Bay, and it is only logical that they would have more disgruntled customers. I am very happy to hear that Casco Bay has many satisfied customers - thats fantastic. Generally speaking I would take a sofa made in North American over a sofa made in China any day!! Again if you like Brompton Cocoa - the leather supplier is Moores and Gilles, and they supply Omnia Leather, Elite Leather, Legacy leather, Bradington Young - just to name a few! However, while Brompton is a good look, because it is heavily oiled it can be more cold than other pull up leathers, so if you are looking for a leather that is more comfortable in colder climates this may not be it. Finally, while it is hard as a consumer out there to know what you are purchasing, when it comes to leather there are two types of leathers to avoid at all costs: bonded and bicast. Ideally look for 100% aniline died leather, solid hard wood frames and 8 way hand tied - the makings of a truly high quality leather sofa - good luck!

Jonathan Wesley Upholstery does make some of the frames for Casco Bay. Our factory is based in Taylorsville NC. We do a lot of private label for many companies. It's what we love to do. We are wholesale and sell to retailers and interior designers
