Blc. George King 'Serendipity'

Here is Blc. George King 'Serendipity' in bloom for me. One of my beautiful larger orchids, the blooms were extremely fragrant and lasted a couple of weeks. Slightly more peach in person than my photos suggest and slightly less pink, it produced magnificent flowers.

In warmer growing conditions I expect the orange-golds may be a little stronger as I have photographed this cultivar at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens and seen it more peachy-orange at that location. Blooms were about 5 inches across.

At some point I'd still like to obtain Pot. Edith North 'Danny Adams' which is a similar one also often peach colored but with more yellow and less deep pink in the lip. Perhaps in the spring when I divide my orchids I can make some trades.

Here is an example of Pot. Edith North 'Danny Adams' that I photographed at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens. If you have one you might be willing to part with a division of, please do keep me in mind.
