i like the second countertop, but not the backsplash

I love my quartz countertop!!

Quartz for me, I love a quiet counter top.

Truly they are both beautiful but I prefer the granite.

My first choice would be the granite and backsplash. I like the quartz too but not with that backsplash.

The granite and BS look nice, also the quartz but not that BS.

Hard to say without seeing your cabinets/floors/etc., but I don't really care for either backsplash.

How much counter will you have, and which will you want to make your 'statement', be your bling ;0) The granite would serve that function with the quieter backsplash - the reverse may be true with the backsplash you are showing with the quartz.

If my kitchen, I would probably go with that beautiful granite. Which does not mean it would satisfy you ;0) Do you have a cabinet sample?

I don't like the backsplash choice you're pairing with the quartz. The granite and backsplash are well matched, though.

Thanks everyone, here’s a cabinet door paired with the granite and the kitchen floor ,which is what I’m leaning towards. Doing the bathrooms also, so I might do that quartz in there!

Floor works best w quartz.....even so it's too tan for cabs it appears....risky.

Agreed, floor is too tan to go with the grey/black of the granite.

I don't care for either one now that I see the floor.

confused- on my monitor the granite looks white with brown? not black gray.....

The floor is really not that bad, pic is not doing justice. Thanks everyone for input, going with the granite and that backsplash looks great with the floor.

It’s a smoky quartz, I wouldn’t classify it as black/gray either.

The granite looks fine and is busy. The color of the paired backsplash works. IMO the small size of the backsplash makes it busy. I would keep same backsplash color but a larger pattern, maybe 3 x 6 to simplify with fewer grout lines. Computer and phone screens skew tones.

Glad you chose the granite. It has more depth than the quartz. I see a bit of gold in there and I like that a lot. I'm a bit worried about the color of the floor. I have a porcelain tile floor and HATE it. I would advise anyone to go with something else.

Love the granite with the cabinets. It also looks good with the backsplash but I would either go with a bigger size tile or a grout color that blends in with the tile, to avoid it looking too busy.
