Is this a free-standing table? What is the base material? Have you considered a metal top? Copper? As it ages its patina will work beautifully with the glass.

Without more information and a photo from you, I will tell you about what I did in a powder room where we selected a beautiful glass vessel sink which had "goldfish" swimming around the bowl with lovely blues and greens simulating water. I had a talented decorative artist named Velvet Barton here in Austin paint the walls in a fabulous metallic copper finish with parts of the copper showing aging colors of blue/greens. It was done perhpas 10 years ago and it's still a stunning room with a mirrored wall that reflects the lovely finish.

It will go on a cherry cabinet that is already installed. Love the copper idea. Hadn't thought of that. The shower will have pebbles on the floor and will also be the backsplash. Perhaps I could work come copper into that. Thanks a bunch.

You all have been awesome. I was just about to give up and go with a plain stone sink. We are building on Cedar Creek Lake. It is a vacation home for the whole family. We've worked tirelessly to provide something for every age group. The sink was my first idea as the grand children are young. Though it would be easy to find things but nope.
