Just thinking.

I have always wanted a greenhouse to grow a few in ground plants through the winter. I have studied quite a lot about geothermal systems, passive solar, gas heating etc to figure out the best configuration for my property. I want to keep the operating costs at a minimum and it seems the easiest thing to do would be to build a passive solar lean too against my home. The problem I have is the only suitable wall on my house is the north wall. The plants would get sunlight in the summer but zero direct sunlight in the winter. I know I will have to use reflectors in the yard or artificial light to compensate for this, does this seem reasonable or is it a hopeless idea? P.S. I am in zone 6b and am l am considering zone 7-9 plants. thanks Greg
