Open Floor Plan Transformation

The existing San Jose kitchen, was small, dark, had one little window and a soffit that loomed over the countertop. Although the kitchen and family room were adjacent, there was very little storage, space was limited and the step down to the family room further complicated the design. This home was brought back to life by adding a bright and welcoming L-shaped kitchen with an island allowing extra counterspace. For added storage we created a fully functional walk-in pantry and useful bar area. This new open floor plan provides spacious common areas perfect for relaxation and entertainment.
