Help! I’m in the process of remodeling this OLD and small bathroom from 1972. I’ve included pictures of the tile I chose and I have it numbered with a description. Also, I’ve included a picture close to what the shower should look like(tile only)the bathroom before remodeling and during remodeling. We’ve decided to remove the tub altogether and go with a walk in shower. Help me decide on finishes: nickel, bronze, or dark espresso? The vanity I purchased has a white marble countertop with honey oak vanity. Should I paint it? Help help! (The seat is purposely made that way for accessibility reasons)
#1 shows the tile for the floor and the shower wall
# 2 is a picture of the trim to surround the shower.
#3 the shower floor and it’ll be used a little in the shower wall and maybe through out the tile on the floor.

No, don't paint an oak vanity. You'll still see the grain. Do you have a photo of the vanity?

With the warm tones of your tile, I'd use nickel as it has a yellow undertone. Nickel will look best with the marble top. But I would look for a floor and shower tile in the lighter tones in the mosaic tile because of the marble top. I would also skip the diamond accent as the heavy travertine look isn't a good match with a white marble top. It appears "dated" to me also. It feels like you're creating two different styles in a tiny room by splitting the room into a spa look with the vanity and a Tuscan look with the shower.

Actually the vanity pictured is the exact vanity I’ll be using. I just noticed that.

I thought that was the old one. It's very hard to see any detail. I think it looks fine.

An actual photo of the floor and mosaic tile would be helpful. But I really wouldn't use that heavy-looking travertine accent tile. A good rule of thumb is the smaller the space, the fewer the materials. You could line the niches with the mosaic, then you're only using two tiles plus your countertop, the third hard surface.

The collage shows a picture of the actual floor tile and tub mosaic tile. It’s in the process of being done so there isn’t a picture of it in the bathroom.
