Knotty Pine in Family Room and Mahogany in Rest of House???

My dining room has Henredon Rittenhouse mahogany china cabinet and dining set. (first two photos). Mahogany also in front of house living room and library/office and round table in foyer. My family room has a white painted built in entertainment center that we are planning to remove and replace with this huge Ethan Allen Country French armoire (last photo) that will allow a much larger TV plus (I am hoping) will lesson the awkward look of the corner fireplace. I just scored the EA armoire at an estate sale, normally don't care for knotty pine but loved the overall look of it when I saw it. Right now it is sitting in the front entry right in front of the formal dining room and now not sure about combining such different wood in the same house!

In the family room the fireplace is in the corner with the built-in taking up the whole wall to the immediate right of it. The other two walls are all windows and no fourth wall as that opens to kitchen. Dining room is on other side of kitchen through open arched doorway, no door. There are oak floors throughout main floor that we are planning to refinish darker, white woodwork, and yellow walls. Ideally I am going for lots of yellow and blue, I love the Charles Faudree style. (I took these photos off internet but they are my exact pieces, not sure how to take photos and get them on here!)
